Here is my updated drop cap, which was inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian. Using criticism from the class critique, I removed part of the stem of the letterform because it was too long. I removed the awkward space between the stem and the arms as well. I also changed the gray squares to white with black outline because the yellow was getting lost. I think without the gray it looks more Mondrian-esque anyway.
